A deep motivation

Barbara Greenspan Shaiman, daughter of Holocaust survivors, explains what motivated her to leave a successful career in healthcare recruitment and found Champions of Caring. The nonprofit is dedicated to sensitizing, educating and empowering young people to take active roles in improving their communities. Barbara shares the heartfelt tie with Steven Spielberg and movie “Schindler’s List.”

Barbara then founded Embrace Your Legacy to expand beyond youth, and encourage more groups to make positive change.
